October 26th - Season 2

 Long Live the King

To say that the anticipation was high going into Hallow’s Eve would have been an understatement. The
feature-race of the pay-per-view saw King John Kloof take on #1 Claimant Mandla Xulu in a race where power-boost was banned.

With both of them going into the race with a loss a piece in races against Thorne Oberhauser where power-boost was banned, it was clear that the playing field was level and that the race would be anyone’s game.

The action was fast and it was furious. After the last two episode of Monday Night Fuel, it was anyone’s guess as to what would happen after the 15th lap.

As the lap approached, it was Mandla that led the race. Making no mistakes this time, Mandla maintained the lead and looked to keep it. Unfortunately, the resourceful King had other plans as he managed to hold his draft around the last corner of the Bicep Track and slingshot past the challenger sweeping past him to take the win and retain the Crown.

With this win, not only did King Kloof put a rest as to whether he was the better racer but he also assured that Mandla Xulu would not be in the feature-race of the upcoming PPV. That spot has been booked by the new #1 Claimant (see below).

While King Kloof’s victory proved decisive for many fans, there are still those opposed to the decision as DM Xulu could once again be seen crying foul play. Only time will tell what the politician has to say.

While this may be the end of Mandla’s time as the #1 Claimant, it does not look like it’s the end of the arc known as Amandla’s Rebellion.
