Penny, Duchess of Drag
When the Duchess of Drag came to Monday Night Fuel last night, she had no idea that she would be defending her title. However, ever the duchess that she is, Penny accepted her fate with pride as she took on Dime in a half mile drag race.
We asked the Duchess how she felt having to defend her title without warning. “Well it’s the nature of being — what other sports would call a champion: you have to be ready to defend your title at all times. So, I’m proud to have lived up to the challenge.”
We then asked how she felt about her challenger and once-partner and how he got the title race. “As a former Duke himself, Dime should know better than to think complaining is going to get him anywhere in this Series. Personally, I think that he’s a coward for not earning a shot the hard way. And it’s only karma that he got his ass beat by me here tonight.”
While Penny did in fact defeat Dime, one wonders if this loss will finally put an end to the complaints of the self-proclaimed “Double-Header” against the Commissioners of Fuel.
