They’ve done it again. The showrunners of Monday Night Fuel have officially sanctioned the fourth ever gauntlet race set to take place at the Crown Jewel of Sports Entertainment: The Second Formula-X Grand Prix.
In the short space of 7 months, the gauntlet race has managed to garner one hell of a reputation. With the 1st one taking place at Show-Down in Durban followed by Gauntlet II taking place just a month later at the Year End Bash, it was already clear then that these races were truly something special.
Gauntlet III took place at the Festival of the Fall where it also carried the subtitle of “No Holds Barred” which proved apt as it saw many previous participants scratch and claw just to be featured in the race.
Gauntlet IV has been given the subtitle of “MotorMania” which surely speaks to the fact that it will be taking place at the Granddaddy of Them All and will surely feature a showdown of epic proportion.
It’s telling that the 1st man to run the gauntlet now sits on the F-X Throne with the 2nd man having challenged him at the latest PPV. Being a gauntlet runner carries a high honor in Formula-X and the next runner is sure to be in line for great things.
