He may not be the most liked F-X racer at the moment, but there is no doubt that he is one of the best. Not only did he have the honor of being the first victor of Monday Night Fuel and the first F-X King but now he has also made history by not only being part of the first ever gauntlet race and won the honor of being the last gauntleteer.

We asked Thawn how it felt to be apart of history in this upcoming first for the series. “It definitely is an honor and I think this goes all the way back to what I said on my first night here, which I’m here to win. And at the PPV, I’m going to be the one to break the gauntlet and further cement my legacy.”

Thawn went on to say that Styles and JVZ did not have the experience needed to defeat Solo, but he did. He carried on and said that all of this was just a prelude to his next crowning because he’s determined to become F-X King again.

It is now more than ever that we look forward to this gauntlet race as tensions continue to rise.
