The Black Tantrum
“A Beast of a Vehicle”: that was how Captain Khumalo described the engine of the newest F-X racers.
In an interesting twist on what has become an unofficial rite of passage for newcomers in the Formula-X Series — Under the Hood — F-X reporters were unable to get ahold of Temper Kunene. However we they did manage to get ahold of the man that coined the iconic description of the engine: Captain Khumalo.
“Well what else is there to say other than it’s a beast. It has the speed, it has the horsepower. All that was left for Temper to win that half mile drag race was experience in drag races. The Black Tantrum is a mean monster.”
Captain Khumalo went on to say that he foresees great things in Temper Kunene’s future in the Formula-X Series save for one thing that he noticed in the young man: “he needs to calm down and learn from his loses, not lose his head from them.”
The Captain wasn’t the only one who noticed but then again, surely they don’t call him Temper for nothing.
