 12 Rounds Rival

When Touch Mkhize extended an invitation to the winner of last week’s “Winner Goes 12 Rounds” Race, he never thought that he’d be in that race and thus facing his own rival right on his own show.

As it turns out, Thawn had been hoping that it would be Touch as it was him that had suggested to Moodswing that he be given a shot.

Touch asked the obvious question. “Well I have a little bit of a beef with you, though you didn’t know it. Yes, it’s gone forgotten since last season but now that we’re approaching the end of the year, I want to know what makes you a bigger draw than I am. What makes you the box office and not me?”

While Touch was caught off guard, recent experience with this sort of unpreparedness let him recover fast. Touch pointed out that he didn’t know Thawn was jealous of him and that he was flattered and also honored to be considered a worthy adversary.

Touch then, ever the showman, declared that their race won’t just be a 12 Rounds Derby, but also the “Battle of the Box Office”.
