King John Kloof
When Touch Mkhize introduced his guest for his latest instalment of Touching Base, there seemed to be tension hanging in the air as the F-X King went on to the stage.
Touch first asked the King how it felt to not have the same coronation afforded to both Thorne and Mandla. “Well at the moment I’m being careful with my words so I’m not sure how to answer that one without people looking at me as attention-seeking and greedy.”
Touch was quick to point out that King Kloof seemed to want to please the crowd to which the King said with marches on the street, it certainly didn’t seem a good idea to make them more angry.
Touch then asked how Kloof felt about what Mandla said in his conference just a couple of hours ago.
“I think that Mandla is a little bit angry and why shouldn’t he be. Besides losing the crown, his place as the franchise player is a bit awkward . That’s why he was given a press conference all to himself. You see, he’s a politician, nothing more and I’m going to prove it
