The Power Boost Button
Have you ever wondered that since Formula-X racing is legitimate and not scripted, how on earth do all the races continue to be so tight with overtaking ,blocking and drafting seeming to occur in almost all races. The answer: we cheat.

No, they don’t mean the F-X racers — we know that they don’t cheat. However the Commissioners of Fuel cheat. You see, there’s something in every F-X engine called a power boost button.
No, this is not a nitrous button but it does serve a similar function. The boost button allows racers to gain some acceleration and while the acceleration is temporary, it is powerful.
Now the cheat occurs in that the lead racer in whichever race is not allowed to use his power boost button under any circumstances. Only racers who are not in the lead are allowed to use it. And the reason behind this is to keep the races as exciting and as tense as possible.
