With only one week before the SHOW-DOWN IN DURBAN, we have finally got a track and to the amazement of absolutely everyone, it’s the Glue Gun Track.
Everyone expected there to be a different track what with the PPV taking place in Durban for the first time ever but somehow the Commissioners of Fuel managed to recreate the Glue Gun Track from last season’s Show-Down in Down Town.
While details are still slim as to whether this track will go into any down-town areas in Durban, it is likely not to matter as most fans have their eyes on the F-X racers competing.
One of the most talked about elements of the revelation of this track is that both Jim Kieck and King John Kloof have competed on the Glue Gun Track while Mandla has definitely not.
There are some that believe that Mandla’s previous losses can all be attributed to King Kloof having previously raced on the PPV tracks while Mandla hadn’t.
Despite this disadvantage, it would appear that King Kloof and Kieck don’t have that big of advantage considering that the last time these two saw the Glue Gun Track, it was in a One-KM derby which did not make use of the whole track. So it could still be anyone’s game.
