The All-Girls Opening Act
Following John Kloof’s announcement, Monday Night Fuel kicked off with a bang as “The Feline” took on “The Nunnery” in the opening race.
With as little pandering as possible, the race started with Fiona taking the early laps making good use of the inside lanes heading into the corners of the Fuel Speedway.
However Doris Koek recovered by making good use of her power-boost button and powering out of the hard corners. Unfortunately “The other Good Ol’ Girl” could not maintain her lead as Fiona regained 1st position with 5 laps still to go.
Fiona would successfully maintain her lead and take the victory, relegating Koek to play reserve (while her sister contended for the Duchess of Drag title).
Miss Honeycomb maintained that had this been a relay race, Doris would have faired better as she has now grown use to relying on a partner.
