Running the Gauntlet
When Moodswing announced that Solo Magubane would be running the first ever gauntlet race, no one knew what to make of that. But since gauntlet were always something unsavory, they were all sure that it was something nasty.

F-X racers found out recently that the gauntlet race is not a race for the feint of heart. It is described as one racer — called the gauntlet runner — taking on opponent after opponent — called gauntleteers — in a single race until either the gauntleteers were all defeated or the gauntlet was broken by one of them.
The race has been described to be grueling especially for the gauntlet runner as each gauntleteer is given 10 laps in which to defeat the gauntlet runner which means the gauntlet runner must not only race 30 laps but must win laps 10, 20 and 30 as these constitute the final laps of the respective gauntleteers.
Only the Lord knows what got into Moodswing for thinking up something like this but it must be said that it puts a lot of pressure on the gauntlet runner.
It also must be said that this race puts a gauntlet survivor on the upper echelon of the F-X Series and when it comes to odds, despite them being against him, it’s not a good idea to count Solo out.
