It takes a different kind of F-X racer to be able to take to the Fuel Speedway without knowing who you’re facing and then have it together enough to defeat them. That’s what happened when Stevie managed to pull out the win. And she did against a former F-X King no less.
When the so-called “Diamond in the Rough” entered the Winner’s Circle, we asked her how it felt to defeat a former King.
“Well it was no easy feat, I can tell you that. As for how it felt, it was almost euphoric to manage to do that. But they don’t call me the Diamond in the Rough for no reason, you know. I truly believe that I’m the best racer on the Formula-X Series who has yet to win the F-X Crown.”
We then asked her how she felt about being a Gauntleteer. “Well I’ve been here before. And as much as I wish I was the one running the gauntlet, to prove myself and get that distinction, I believe that breaking the gauntlet is just as prestigious and that’s what I’m going to do.”
With strong victories like this, who can say she’s lying.
