The New Era Begins
After Monday Night Fuel came to a close last night, everyone knew what that meant: that it was time to catch up with Touch Mkhize. What they didn’t know was that it was no longer going to be on Talking with Touch.
Touch Mkhize introduced us to the renamed talk show Touching Base where he formally ushered in a new era. He went on to say that it was time to shift gears meaning people shouldn’t be surprised if guests started losing their chairs if the people didn’t like what they had to say.
While this Jerry Springer/Steve Wilkos style of presenting went over well with the live audience, Touch assured the F-X racers that it would not go over well with them.
Touch went on to ‘touch’ on Amandla’s Rebellion, how he spent his hiatus, the business ventures of JVZ and finally Styles Sithole — who has called him out after becoming the next claimant for his title.
“Now I know that you were just running your mouth trying to up the drama and get a rise out of me. Well all I have to say to that is: it’s on.”
