THE RACING DIARIES

 The Scramble Race

The Scramble Race is one of the most unique in the Formula-X racecard as not only does it only occur once a year but it is also the only race that has all F-X racers facing off all at the same time.

It is widely believed that it’s due to this characteristic that the previous Scramble PPV was such a success.

The Scramble race begins with all competitors on the starting grid lined up according to how they placed in the Qualifiers.

The F-X Racers then compete against one another for 50 Laps (or an hour depending on which comes first). The race is the most akin to classic championship races as it has the racers suffering penalties if they commit a foul and are forced to pit-stop exactly once due to the length of the race.

The Scramble Race is said to favor relay racers more than it does non-relay racers as relay racers are used to getting out of their pit as fast as possible and have developed strategies to reenter races to allow them an advantage.

Despite this, it has been noticed that relay racers seem to rank lower than feature-racers.
