When Moodswing and Glenwood Jacobs took to the middle-stage at the top of the hour to announce
Gauntlet IV: MotorMania, absolutely no one saw it coming. However just when the live crowd in attendance thought they couldn’t be any more shocked, Moodswing named none other than Thawn Oberhauser as the gauntlet runner.
With even his co-showrunner at a loss for words, Moodswing explained himself.
“As the only man that was not involved in any capacity in Gauntlet Three, I feel that its only fair that the honor of running Gauntlet Four be given to Thawn Oberhauser who has proven himself over and over again.”
Glen would then take the mic himself and simply say “then perhaps he should prove himself just one more time,” as Glen was not in the mood of just handing out opportunities like this.
Glen would then sanction a race for the gauntlet runner position on the spot pitting Thawn against his sworn enemy Jim Kieck — a man who’s never competed in a gauntlet race.
