TOUCHING BASE

Way to the Future

In a mirror image to last year’s final instalment of Touching Base, Touch Mkhize forewent his usual format in order to throw light at the future of Formula-X.

He congratulated all the F-X racers that had managed to make Season Two theirs, including Styles Sithole who’s begun breaking into the feature-race picture; Thorne Oberhauser who’s established many firsts for F-X and of course, the F-X King himself, Solo Magubane who ran two gauntlets, went to Auto 1 and ended Amandla’s Rebellion.

Touch went on to predict a few things. “While I’m no fortuneteller I do believe that there are certain things that are inevitable. I do believe that Penny Potgierger hasn’t shown us anything yet. I do believe that Stevie will become F-X Queen and I do believe that I will continue to be the most popular F-X racer in the series.”

Touch went on to invite Glenwood Jacobs on to the stage who also praised all the racers for their hard work and said that he promises that Formula-X will get even bigger and better than ever.
