February 1st - Season 2

The Rebellion is Over

At long last, the arc, chapter and saga known as Amandla’s Rebellion came to a close at The Scramble pay-per-view. The point that marked the end was none other than the crowning of Solo Magubane as the new Formula-X King.

The moment had to be seen to be believed because it saw things that we had never seen in the Series before. The first monumental difference to the norm was when Deputy Mayor Xulu was seen clapping along with other members of the audience, smiling in stark comparison to other PPVs that saw the DM grumpy as hell.

It only got better as Solo was personally congratulated by the DM when Solo shook hands with him right on the middle-stage.

This was seen as an epic moment and a pivotal moment as not only did it contrast with the handshake the DM shared with Moodswing exactly a year ago but it was also seen as a true sign of peace between the CMA and F-X.

While the PPV was seen as the moment Amandla’s Rebellion came to an end, it was officially confirmed when earlier today, there were absolutely no protesters in sight for the first time this season.

Due to his personal connection to the uprising, F-XQ got together with Mandla Xulu to ask him whether it was over and Mandla confirmed it truly was. He believes the reason it ended was because the people finally realized that the Commissioners of Fuel weren’t fixing anything if a black man managed to capture the Crown.

While the motivation for the end of this arc feels a bit backhanded, we’re sure we speak for the fans in expressing our relief regardless and our congratulations to the new Formula-X King who not only fulfilled a year long dream, but united a province.
