October 19th - Season 2

The Highest Drawing Reserve in F-X History

In an interesting turn of events, Thawn Oberhauser has found himself playing reserve on HALLOW’S
EVE.

In a special edition of Touching Base that saw the talk-show take the middle-stage at the top of the hour for only the 2nd time in the history of Monday Night Fuel, Touch invited his 1st guest for the night: Thawn Oberhauser to join him.

While Touch was quick to explain to the egotistical Thawn that the only reason he was his guest was because he was one of the few F-X racers that could be trusted to be on stage with a microphone unescorted, he quickly upped the ante by getting back in the swing of things and creating drama like only he could.

Touch proceeded to provoke Thawn by asking if he really thought he was better than everyone else on the roster. When Thawn told him he was, Touch goaded him by asking why he wasn’t on the racecard for HALLOW’S EVE yet and wondered whether the showrunners had any faith in him.

It was at this point that Thawn dug his own grave by suggesting that the showrunners would be idiots if they didn’t give him free pass onto the PPV. When Touch mentioned the No-Holds-Barred management, Thawn said it was nonsense and was just an excuse to keep him away from the Throne because otherwise he’d be King forever. He then proceeded to say that when he defeated the King tonight, he should be added into the feature-race on Sunday.

Unfortunately for Thorne, Moodswing and Glenwood would take exception and while they admitted that Throne was one of their biggest draws of Formula-X, no one got free passes especially after insulting them and they proceeded to place Thorne on reserve for the PPV.
