December 7th - Season 2

One Last Race After the Derby

It’s that time of the year again when we bid you goodbye for now as Monday Night Fuel airs its last episode of the year and goes on hiatus for four weeks.

With all the familiar things coming back with a vengeance, FXQ decided to catch up with a rather famed visitor to the Fuel Speedway: Debra Kloof.

We asked Debra how things were going with her marriage after a year recovering from the turmoil the Formula-X Series put her through and how she felt about Jim Kieck being back in her husband’s life.

“Well I’m sure you’ll be glad to know that we’re exactly what we said we were all that while ago: going strong. And we are better than ever. In fact we’re better than before. It’s like that old saying about going through a crucible.

“And speaking about crucibles, you asked about Jim Kieck. Well the same thing’s going to happen to him that happened the last time he met my husband behind the wheel: he’s going to get——”

While Debra’s colorful words were enlightening, we couldn’t be happier for the state of her marriage. It’s clear that Debra learnt from her last experience and looks to not get involved in the racing world for a second time.

As for King Kloof and Jim Kieck, it was clear that there was no old animosity between them anymore and that their entire focus was on walking out of the YEAR END EVENT with the F-X Crown.

When it comes to momentum, it looks like the King will be walking in strong with not just a victory two weeks ago about a victory over Jim himself while Jim has to shake off two straight losses in two consecutive weeks if he wants to defeat the reigning King and capture the Formula-X Crown.
